FROM THE DESK OF PRESIDENT

Dear Alumni/ae, 

I am delighted to reach out to you through the website of the Xavier’s College Alumni Association of Burdwan (XCAAB).

St. Xavier’s College Burdwan is in its infant’s stage. From the time of its inception in the year 2014, the institution has committed to impart quality education with the Xaverian tradition. Every student who has walked into this portal of learning has left an indelible mark in its history by his/her active involvement, commitment for social cause and holistic excellence. The inspiring academic ambiance, the warmth and care of the Professors and the healthy competitive atmosphere of bubbling activities nurtured the students to shine as leaders in their chosen fields.

Within a few years of its existence, the college has given birth to the Alumni Association. I congratulate all those who worked hard to register this Association without much delay. This indeed shows the deeper commitment and their love and yearning to stay connected with their Alma Mater. From the time the first batch of students passed out from the college, slowly all get organized themselves and planned out several philanthropic, academic and sports-related activities. Besides the meticulous planning of all these activities, the outcome of these programs needs to be applauded. The beneficiaries continue to cherish these services of XCAAB with gratitude and greater appreciation. As I congratulate all the alumni members of St. Xavier’s College Burdwan, I sincerely wish that efforts to serve the downtrodden and their all other future endeavours may become successful.  

Dear Alumni/ae once you all pass out from the institution you get involved with your families and work and suddenly you begin to lose touch with your close circles. The Alumni Association of our college (XCAAB) can help you stay connected with those friends whom you fondly remember, the faculty that supported you and the administration which guided you to pursue your post-academic life and career. This website of the Alumni Association is designed to build a vibrant alumni network, maintain endless relationship and discover invaluable alumni potential which can be at the disposal of service of the less privileged and nation-building.  

I would like to appeal to all our Alumnae to register themselves with the Alumni Association and stay connected on a common platform. It will be a matter of pride to follow you all as you are accomplishing a journey in your career and life beyond your graduation. Your Alma Mater has also partially or fully enabled you to realize your future your dreams. Share your success story with us. After all, your success is our success.
