HOW CAN YOU TAKE MEMBERSHIP IN XCAAB?

If you want to take membership in Xavier’s College Alumni Association of Burdwan, then you have to follow certain guidelines and procedures. A person who has completed any three (3) years of bachelor’s degree course and graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Burdwan and no longer a student at the material time can become a Life member of the Alumni Association by paying a subscription fee at a time, which shall be fixed by the Governing Council and which for the time being shall be Rs. 601/- (Rupees Six Hundred and One) only. The Lifetime Membership fee includes a lifetime subscription fee of Rs. 501/- and a processing fee of Rs. 100/-. The person has to come and contact the Alumni Office for complying the registration procedure.

REQUISITE DOCUMENTS FOR TAKING MEMBERSHIP IN XCAAB:

• Completely filled-up membership application form which is only available in the alumni office.
• Three (3) recent passport size colour photographs of the applicant.
• A photocopy of proof of being a student of St. Xavier’s College Burdwan.
• Payment of Lifetime Membership Fee.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE OF LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP FEE:

 

• Applicant can pay the Lifetime Membership Fee either in Cash, Demand Draft or Cheque in favour of “XCAAB” and Demand Drafts must be payable at per any branches in Burdwan.

• Please note that the Applicant will receive a receipt for any such successful payment(s)/transaction(s) from the Alumni Association office.

 

 

VISION OF XCAAB THROUGH MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

• Any person who takes membership in the alumni association, he/she is eligible to come and attend any event or projects being taken up under the supervision of the alumni association.
• He/She can help the alumni by making valuable suggestions to the alumni association in furtherance to St. Xavier’s College Burdwan to make it shine bright and achieve all glory and success more in future.
• Any person who becomes a member, his/her relation with the other fellow alumni members, his/her batch mates, seniors and juniors develop to a great extent.
• Any member gets acquainted with the Xaverian network spread across the nation as well as globally. It promotes exchange of resources in terms of contact-building, opportunities, and so on among the alumni members through many occasions and attending various meetings, programs taken up by the Alumni Association. The healthy discussions help the members to set up goals in life and gather knowledge from various notable alumni of different fields and genre.
• Another noteworthy thing is that any member who never shared such compatibility terms with each other during their college days, become close companions and jointly work for numerous initiatives of the Alumni Association. Therefore, it also promotes the quality of team efforts, output and success of the entire forum in any endeavour.
